Over the past four days I have been out at Mangahao, (20mins south of Palmerston North). We had the NZ Development Team Camp to prepare them for the up coming season and their tour to the Australian National Championships in January. There was a great turn out with about 20 juniors and a few NZ Junior Team members making use of the great white water down here! This weekend Im coaching at the New Zealand Development Team Camp. There is a group of about 20 and they will travel to Australia in January to race the Australian Nationals. We had a awesome check in in Munich and didnt have to pay any overweight baggage and everything went really smooth. Our flight was epic as per normal. I didnt sleep much on the way to Singapore and we had a 14hr stop over to look forward to. Not wanting to stay in the airport we caught the train into town and went on a bit of a tiki tour. We were lucky enough to have our last night in Europe in Munich. Even though getting accommodation was pretty hard because the  beer fest starts in a couple of days time! We packed our bags, cleaned out the van and shot into the town centre for a traditional meal at the Hofbrauhaus. We all had a stein of their finest and I had the traditional pork knuckle!
