Australian Open Pictures

Well its been a busy week for me and finally Slalom NZ has come out with our rankings for the 2010-2011 season. The ranking tophies are decided over a race series including 4 selection races , pre nationals and nationals. The best 4 results are taken for overall winner. After I finished a disappointing 2nd at our Nationals it was nice to win the overall ranking. However my goals are slightly higher than being the best in NZ! Following NZ Nationals I headed back to Palmerston North via Napier to catch up with the family. I was stoked when I heard there was a little bit of a swell back at my old local wave the mighty ‘reef’ and went out for a training session/play… Fridays surf was awesome and I headed back for some more action on Saturday.
