Canoe Slalom

  I have finally finished my study for the semester and now have a bit more time available to focus on slalom paddling. Im lucky to join up and have the support from Massey University who are helping me with various parts of my preparation. I made the trip home for the weekend to visit family and sponsors. Over the past few weeks have been pretty busy with lectures finishing up and exams looming. I’m looking forward to next week so I can concentrate fully on paddling. We have been pretty lucky over the past few weeks with the weather but it seems like all of a sudden its winter. But thats all good as the river will have plenty of water and I just need a couple of extra layers…. Its been a eventful past few days. I have been pretty busy finishing up assignments before my exams in a few weeks at Massey University. We had a function last night for the Sports Institute with Scott Robertson (ex All Black)  as the guest speaker. It was a pretty good night with a good presentation and good people.
