Palmerston North, Napier then Rotorua

On Wednesday afternoon after training I legged it down to Napier for the night. I caught up with Raiseys, talked over some of their new products and then went to palmy to see Paul. It was pretty sweet catching up, talking about my training for the next while and I also did some testing. We tried some new testing protocols and think we found a good one to show if I am gaining in strength/power, in relation to canoe slalom. Following this I went out to Mangahao, location for the NZ Open for some training as the river was flowing. It was pretty nice paddling there with lots of water and for once nice sun shine!! I only stayed in Palmy for a couple of days before spending time in Napier catching up with friends before training starts on Monday…Fun times ahead!!
