Weekend wrap up.

Saturday I headed over to Tauranga nice and early to do a session with the kids I am coaching. I personally think they are going really well and on track for some good performances in the near future. Dome have shown great strength gains and its pretty cool to be involved with people that want to learn.  Its also exciting to see that they are learning good ethics and training habits.  While we were training a couple of rowers came pretty close to us, hence the cheeky video (on the right).  After training with the boys the seniors joined forces for a meeting about europe and things on their minds.  Andrew had his 21st and Im sure things only got more interesting after I left! Its well into Movember and I must say I have a killer red beard. It was part of my dress up for Andys 40th as Chuck Norris. It was a pretty cool night with some interesting people there. My favourites, Shrek and Dai as Braveheart.

Well done to Steph who won her first running race for the season. She has changed over to using Raiseys Hydrate and the new ACTIV-8 to fuel her through her nice easy 30+km run. Flag that I say! get in a car and drive…
